Over the past few weeks, we’ve been hard at work refining both the PyxMagic Hub web service and the companion iOS app. We’ve introduced several new features and enhancements to make your experience even smoother and help you create stunning product imagery more effortlessly than ever before.
Updates to the PyxMagic Hub
New Features in the PyxMagic Hub
New Cropping Tool
The new cropping tool in the ‘Publish’ step of the Editor lets you set a precise crop for your images, giving you greater control to ensure they’re perfectly framed before they’re published or downloaded. This precision helps you achieve the exact look you want.
Edit Product Name, SKU and Capture Name
The Capture Details page now not only lets you edit the Product Name, SKU, and Capture Name but also gives you the option to delete captures. This update offers even more control over managing your content as your library grows.
Search in ‘My Captures’
The My Captures page now includes a search feature, allowing you to quickly find specific captures by searching for capture name, SKU, or product name. With search, you will save time and browse captures more efficiently.
View Uploads in List Format
You can now see your uploaded photos on the ‘Uploads’ page in a convenient list format, making it easier to view your files. This streamlined view simplifies tracking and accessing your uploads at a glance
Improvements to the PyxMagic Hub
Sharper Mask Edges
The AI used for masking images has been enhanced, resulting in much sharper masks and eliminating blurry edges for a more precise and polished finish.
Improved Shadow Quality
We’ve improved how shadows are generated, making them more accurate and visually appealing. This enhancement adds even more depth and realism to your images, ensuring they look natural and professional.

New Features in the PyxMagic App
New Button Layout in Landscape Mode
We’ve refined the Exposure Slider layout in landscape mode for easier access and use. Additionally, we’ve improved and reoriented button text, ensuring better legibility. These updates enhance usability, making it easier to work efficiently and accurately within the app.

We’ve updated the PyxMagic iOS app to significantly enhance overall image quality. Your captures are now even clearer and sharper, revealing finer details and vividness.
Improved Low-Light Performance
We’ve enhanced the low-light capability of the iOS app, allowing you to make captures that have better clarity when working in dimly-lit areas of your store or warehouse. This improvement ensures your images are always sharp and detailed.
